It has been a little while since I lasted posted. Things have been pretty busy what with trying to finish up my teaching placement, working at LOFT, finding time to work at the barn & ride, uni schoolwork and and classes. Sheesh. I'm almost done though. This week will be fun because everyone is coming up to our house for Thanksgiving. I am looking forward to the festivities. Then it will be time to get my portfolio ready and take my certification tests. Fun!
Right now, I am finishing up my assessment brief which I will be turning in tomorrow. I haven't much else to say. I wish what I had to say right now or in the future had some profound impact on the world, but I am just a person trying to make the most of my life and potentially make a difference in someone else's life (for the better) down the road. Truth is, when I say something, not too many people listen. Even if what I had to say was particularly profound, odds are the only person who'd be listening (maybe) would be Xena.
Nothing more, nothing less.

I think it's interesting that you put "No Country!" on your list of music favorites.
In the years since I have moved to London I have come up against alot of prejudice. Mostly it's anti-Americanism... ie. all American are fat lazy stupid idiot sort of prejudice.
Of course, you know, and I know, that isn't true.
But I always find that sort of prejudice in any shape interesting. No country!? Can you imagine someone saying "No Rock and roll!" as if Ozzy Osbourne and Elvis and Bon Jovi were all rolled up together, all the same?
Saying that, I would like to recommend Lyle Lovett to you. You could start with "Live In Texas" but live albums are tough to listen to sometimes. "Road to Ensenada" is excellent, but polished. Probably Joshua Judges Ruth is my favorite. But his whole body of work is so awe-inspiring, it will make you change your mind.
Try it. First song to download: If I Had a Boat.
